Adam S. Kozaczka

Brief biography

Adam Kozaczka is Associate Professor of English at Texas A&M International University. His work on British, especially Scottish literature appears in a range of top peer-reviewed journals. He is an editor of scholarly editions especially of Romantic-era British literature and is currently finishing a monograph on the overlaps between character in British novels and character evidence in British courtrooms of the late eighteenth and early nineteenth century. He is interested in evidence as it manifests across disciplines, especially in literature, law, and history. He did his degrees at Fordham and Syracuse Universities having spent the first part of his life in New York State, though he now firmly identifies as Texan. He splits his time between south Texas and the CNY region of Upstate New York—if he isn’t there, you will find him in Edinburgh, his home away from home where he sources antiquarian books for a growing collection that promises to give him bookseller’s lung.
